it was a Mayan temple; called El Castillo; 130 feet tall =) (although this picture is not of the highest point.)

I didn't know that Belize also had Mayan ruins... well not really ruins because they look incredibly new built.

They do look like it for sure, but I'm not certain if that is true or not...you could probably find out on the internet; these were the Xunantunich ruins, there is one or two other sites as well I do believe, but I"m not sure what the names are of those.
